I’m a bit late on commentary (especially since I was in the audience), soI’ll keep this brief. Here is the final words Lord Monckton’s speech at the debut of his documentary.

In interest of fairness, I have found a reliable source to the text of the Copenhagen Treaty, or at least a draft. I haven’t read it yet myself, but I ask my readers to join me to determine if this speech is on target or just alarmist prattle. I honestly hope it is the latter of the choices.

Read on.

Last Thursday, the Federal Communications Commission voted to construct basic “network neutrality” legislation designed to prevent ISP’s from favoring some content over other content.

Last November, The CATO Institute put out a 36-page policy analysis discussing the details of Net Neutrality and it’s unnecessity. From page 3: Continue reading »

Bill Whittle creates another magnificent piece for PJTV, this time comparing the destruction of ACORN to the battle of Cannae. Genius.

I was handed a press release last week from Richard Glasgow, founder and Chair of Dear American Hero. It reads as follows:

GOP Party Member, In a Leadership Role, Trashes Veterans and is Rewarded.

ST Paul, MN – A Minnesota Republican Party member, in a leadership role, trashed veterans in a letter to the St Paul Pioneer Press. This member proclaimed to be one of the newer anti-war Republican activists who proclaimed veterans to be communists.

Repeated attempts to resolve this matter with the current Minnesota GOP administration, to censor and/or remove the member, has resulted in the member being placed into a highly visible position within the GOP.

In response to this disparaging letter, veterans and other concerned citizens will be protesting as the Minnesota GOP Convention October 3, 2009, at the River Center in downtown St Paul, Minnesota. The protest will last until Noon.

Governor Tim Pawlenty’s new Freedom First website was launched this morning, complete with a video introduction of what his site is about:

The site appears designed to tell people about who Pawlenty is, assuming the worst kept secret in the state manifests in the coming months: he will run for President.  Politico makes him to be viable challenger to Mitt Romney, and rightfully so.

PJTV put out this wonderful piece about iconography and branding ideologies. It is food for thought for conservative leaders.
